表題の「龍生九子」とは，龍が生んだとされる「九匹の子」を指します。

バックは「龍」の漢字が敷き詰められ，その上を，竜尾がうねっています。
無数の雲も描かれており，神秘的な雰囲気です。
フェイスは，雷紋（格子模様）が全面を引き締めており，形象化されたピプスも深みがあります。
絵札には前述の「龍生九子」が描かれているようです。
カード箱は白が際立って，半紙のような風格です。

Each face card tells a story. In an ancient Chinese fable, a Dragon had supreme powers. He also had
nine decedents who helped him rule the world. However, the Dragon disappeared one day, leaving twelve powerful creatures who claim that they are the Dragon's decedents. Nobody knows which nine of
them are truly the Sky Descender.

Descenders look evil and powerful, but actually prefer a peaceful life of playing music and reading. Some are capable of
